I have been loving and wearing makeup for a while now, so I thought I would share with you some of the tips and tricks that I have picked up along the way. (Obviously I have tried and tested them all). I have been dying to share this post with you but I had to wait to be able to present it in the best way possible!
So, we have all seen those crazy articles about over the top contouring and and crazy brows, however sometimes you will find ideas that actually do work. So here are some of my tips for you to try out!
Make that highlighter POP!
Use a liquid highlighter, place a dotted line on top of your cheekbones, then blend. To get that highlighter brighter than the stars, add a beautiful powder highlighter on top! (I used my favourite, Mary Lou by The Balm).
Get those Instagram brows!
Everybody is after getting those perfect brows, and lets face it – good brow days = good day! So firstly fill them in, whether its powder or a gel formula. Then get a spooly brush and brush upwards in the inner side of the brows. This will give that faded natural effect. (My models brows were thick so you can’t really see the affect clearly, so I’ve added a picture of my own brows).
Then get an angled brush and use concealer on the outline of the brow to get a tidier affect.
Get those liner wings – easy trick!
Get the perfect wings by drawing on the wings with a pen eyeliner and then fill with liquid liner (this is perfect for beginners!).
Then, (because we all make mistakes) use an angled brush and concealer to make your liner pointier and perfect.
Sunset golden eyes!
I love that bronzy sunset eye look, so instead of going out of your way to find the right eye shadow shade, just use a bronzer.
Keep those lips natural!
I have been loving this super natural look for the lips. This is for the days you don’t want a heavy matter lipstick or a sticky gloss. Use a lip stain and use a highlighter to highlight the cupids bow and you’re good to go.
I just want to say a quick thankyou to my model Saby!
That is all for today, if you have any tips – do share!
