Kiko – Mini haul and review

Hi loves,

I have heard a lot about Kiko products, so I thought I would get my hands on some of them and see if they’re really worth all the hype.

Last time I was in London, I went to the Regent Street store and picked up three eye shadow sticks and a lip stain.

The eye shadow sticks are so creamy and pigmented, and I loved all the colours I picked up.

imageThe shade 28 which is a beige/creamy colour is beautiful. It can be either used as a highlighter for inner corners of your eye, or the brow bone. I have even used it on top of my cheeks. It can also be used as a shimmery base for your eye look.

38 has to be my favourite shade, its like a mauve/brown colour. Its definitely the colour that I feel brings out my eye colour, a complete winner.

I also love 06 which is a dark gold/brown shade. I love the dark shades, they have the beautiful specks of glitter. Which is exactly a right amount of glitter, they can be worn both for day time looks and evening/night time looks.

Below you’ll see some of the eye makeup looks created with these shadow sticks.

Lip stains are all the rage right now, so I picked one up from Kiko in the shade 105. I have to say I didn’t love it. If you want an all over the lip look, it just will not work. It comes up patchy and doesn’t really apply nicely. It also stung when I applied it on my lips. It could work as a base for a similar shade of lipstick, which will allow the colour to remain when your lipstick comes off. Otherwise, by it self I would not recommend it.

I tried it on, after applying several times, this is what it looked like.

Kiko is known for its affordable price range and I think all of the products were around £6 to £8.

That is all, let me know if you have tried any products from Kiko.

Always.
