Today, I wanted to talk to (YOU) my favourites about my favourite things, so without further ado here are some of my favourite things from this month (breaks into song).
I’ve organised them in categories for you (because I’m such a delight).
Face – This month I have been loving the Nyx liquid illuminator. I have mixed it with my mac studio fix foundation for an extra glow. Next, I came across Hello Flawless foundation in my makeup collection when I was having a tidy. I have been using it ever since and love it! It feels light on the skin, it gives a good coverage (medium to full) and it is very long lasting.
Lip – This is my favourite / go-to lip combo right now. Gerad Cosmetics 1995 and Nyx lip liner in sand beige.
Brows – I recently broke my eyebrow kit *sheds tears* it was a valiant/loyal partner. RIP eyebrow kit. Anyway, I found a replacement and I have no complaints, it is the MUA Pro-Brow. Another purchase to keep the brows fleeky all day is the Rimmel Brow This Way. This is to make sure the powder is set and does not budge all day.
Eyeliner – I don’t tend to use pen eyeliners but I found this Soap and Glory eyeliner in my collection and I have been using it to create the perfect wings.
I have been loving and living in Navy this month. This plaid shirt (from HM) is my favourite. It fits perfectly, its comfy and just so easy/laid back. Also my feet have chosen to pair with my converse this month, again comfy/laid back combo. I fell in love with this necklace (from Primark) and I needed a gold statement necklace to add to my collection
Okay, I have been addicted to Maltesers. I didn’t even used to like them that much but this month I have gone through several packets (insert monkey covering his eyes emoji). The next on my love it list is Ronnefeldt Tea which is ridiculously expensive but is lovely with a book. *Sips tea and reads* what more could a girl possibly want?
I won’t babble too much about Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare as I have written a review for it. However, it is one of my favourite so I felt inclined to add it in.
If I Stay by Gayle Forman was on my read-it list and I finally got round to it. I had seen the movie and loved it! It was so beautifully made and it made my heartbreak. (I did sit in the cinema and cry.. a lot). I thought the book might elicit a different reaction/ emotion.. I was wrong. The book was equally heartbreaking which led to uncontrollable sobbing. A brilliant read and I gave it 4/5 stars on goodreads.
Look at that precious face! Of course Zayns debut album is on my favourites list. It is perfect. Honestly Mind of Mine is one of my favourite albums. My favourite songs are Tio and Rear view. The songs are so mellow/relaxing.
Spring has sprung and so has my love for Tulips. They’re so beautiful. I picked up a pink bunch from Sainsbury’s for £2.50 and they lasted me a while. So, this time round I opted for these white beauties.
Lastly, ADELE! So, as some of you may know from social media (Twitter / Instagram) I managed to get hold of tickets to see the legendary ADELE. She was absolutely incredible! It was perfect. I did shed a few tears when she sang ‘Someone like you’, the song means so much to me. It was a beautiful evening therefore, I had to put it on the love-it list.
That is all, let me know what you have been loving this month!
