I went for afternoon tea -again (hence the title). Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do, as some of you already know. Friends, food and tea (what could you possibly want more?).
Anyway, my friends and I decided to go to The Grove for afternoon tea as a late birthday celebration for mine and Allia’s B-DAY. I had been once before for my birthday dinner and found it incredible, so naturally I was very excited.
The weather was incredible and I hope I didn’t use up all my good weather tokens (more sun needed!).
Before we went in, one of my friends was yet to arrive, so Allia and I went for a little stroll around the grounds. It was so beautiful.Obviously I had a pose around and Allia was an incredible photographer (shout out to you girl!). I can not express enough how much the weather made the day even more incredible.
When the third party arrived (Anisa) we went in. Although, it was beautifully sunny it was still chilly.
Once we went in, the lady showed us to our seats and I loved the interior decor. It was light, with creamy colours and I fitted right in.
We spent hours talking, eating, drinking… a lot of tea (far too much that I think I struggled to sleep that night).
Here are some pictures of the food. I quite liked the sandwiches, there were a range to suit our vegetarian needs (Muslim needs – so no meat). The sweet treats were also nice, my favourite was the chocolaty triangle one. By the time we got to the scones, we were stuffed pack with tea and food, so we opted to have one. I do love scones!
Finally, after they got rid of us we went for another stroll. This time it was through the other side of the building.
It was so pretty, and such a perfect day!
This one was taken by Anisa!
To finish of, here is one of all us!
That is all, I hope you enjoyed this weeks post!
Tell me your favourite afternoon tea hotspot so I can check it out!
