This weeks post is about my burfffday! I recently turned 21 and had the best few days celebrating. So I thought I would share with you some things I got up to and to give you ideas (if you want ideas of celebrations) and just for me to look back on. My 21st will definitely be a birthday I will look back on and remember for a long time, it was extraordinary and the people in my my life made me feel incredibly blessed and lucky. So shoutout out to you!
So the the day before my birthday (26/01/16), I arranged an afternoon tea with a few of my friends. As you may know from one of my previous posts I loved Luton Hoo, so I decided to go there again. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didnt take many pictures outside, but we definitely compensated for that inside.
I did manage to get this cheeky ootd outside.
Outfit: Boots – HM/ Leggings – Forever 21/ Skirt – Forever 21/ Top – HM/ Cardigan – HM/ Clutch/Bag – Miss Selfridge.
Here was my makeup for the day. I used Tanya Burr lashes in Bambi.
Afternoon Tea goals.
For when the squad is goals *insert fire emoji* there will be infinite amount of squad pics/selfies.
I honestly had such a wonderful day, celebrating with the strangers that became family. I was so overwhelmed and really emosh after I opened my presents. I was literally a emotional wreck – in the best way possible though. Lastly, shoutout to all my faves for making it a brilliant day.
On my actual birthday (27/01/16), I had a nice lay in. I made myself my favourite breakfast (crumpets and tea), then I headed to my cousins house because we were going to watch a movie. We watched Ride Along 2 and it was brilliant, made me laugh so much.
Then, later on I had made arrangements with the family to go to The Glasshouse restaurant at The Grove. The food was soo good, honestly thinking about those noodles still makes me hungry (hungry – for those noodles in particular). I felt so swish when one of the people at hotel came to park my sister in laws car for her. After we had our meal, we also had some tea. As a lover of tea, I appreciate tea in general but the tea at The Glasshouse was heavenly.
(The unforgettable noodles)
Makeup of the night: Eyelashes – Huda Beauty in Giselle/ Lipiner – Nyx Sand Beige/ Lipstick – Gerad Cosmetics in Underground and MAC in Diva.
A good tip to get that highlight to really pop is to use a liquid highlighter and top is with powder highlighter. I used Nyx liquid illuminator and then to topped it up with my all time favourite highlighter by the Balm in Mary Lou.
Just before we were heading home, I had a little photoshoot (because why not). Thankyou to my cousin for being my camera lady.
Outfit of the night: Trousers – Boohoo/ Shoes – Primark/ Blouse – TU/ Necklace – New Look/ LASTLY WATCH – MICHAEL KORS (Which I got as a present from my brother and sister in law ♥)
That is all for this week.
