Hellooo and welcome to the first post of 2016!
Let me start with… oops I did it again (Treat yo self – a little too much).
But what better way to start the year with, than to talk about a few of my favourite things.
So I have accumulated a few goodies, and here they are!
Makeup makes my heart melt! *sorry I just have a lot of feelings right now*
Okay… lets talk about this life changing highlighter. Although, this is a haul type post I’ve already warn this! Oh my God, its incredible! If you want a stunning highlighter and you only ever want to buy one, THIS IS IT!
I saw this at Sainsbury’s (at a reduced price) and had to get it! I’ve heard a lot about this Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, therefore I am excited to try it. It came with a full size tube, a lipstick balm and a cute little pocket mirror.
*tears, literal tears* How beautiful are these colours. The Mac lipstick (middle) is in the shade Diva. I saw one of my friends wearing and she looked hot so I thought I would try the shade.
These are the swatches without the flash and with the flash.
I’ve been dying to try the Gerad Cosmetics lipsticks, and now I finally can. The first swatch is the shade in Underground and the other Gerad Cosmetic swatch is of 1995. I’m so happy I found out that they can be bought in the UK. They are sold at beautybay.com for those of you who want to get your hands on them.
Now, you guys all know how much I love Nyx! So.. I put a boots order through. I got the matte finish fixing spray/mist and the liquid illuminator. Im so excited for the illuminator – look at that swatch though!
This is another product I have tried and loved! Its the nyx lipliner in the shade sand beige and it is beautiful! (sorry the swatches are not very clear but trust me on this one!
The first brush is the fantail brush from The Vintage Company and the other three are from Beauty Bay’s own brand. I love the fantail brush for highlighting, just love it! I am yet to try the other three.
I also ordered a Mac studio fix foundation, which I love (although Im annoyed that you have to pay extra for a pump when the foundation itself is hella expensive but my sister in law saved me because she had one spare). I got the Mac prep and Prime highlighter (for the under eyes concealing – *yet to try*).
Lastly, I bought this makeup organiser from Amazon. I expected it to be a lot bigger, but it fits my ‘everyday’ makeup so I’m happy.
That is all from me, for this week. See you soon!
